finally, im behind: this is james and drew.

we’ve been in quarantine since mid march so ive only been taking a client here and there so i have (more) time to write… and i never recapped 2019 on the gram so here we are. this wedding was january 5, 2019 smh. ive been notorious for showing everyone what ive been doing about a year later so its right on brand, only wrong for how fast my internet moves. weirdly my last post was me telling me to write more and yeah.

this is james and drew. i met drew in college and shes always had a bright smile and super positive and goofy energy, all qualities for an non bridezilla so when she asked me to shoot her St. Augustine, Florida wedding i was gassed. i met james at the engagement session in houston, seemed cool and a bit reserved then the jokes started and that was it. you know when someones ‘happy happy', they smile differently, that was drew. i knew there’d be pv energy and good laughs involved and i love to amazing people celebrating their life moments. we, jamaal (@jvincephoto) and i, planned to fly to orlando friday night. jamaal missed his flight so he landed an hour after me, nbd. we drove to st. augustine, arrived about midnight to learn it was too late to check into the hotel somehow, eventually hotels.com worked it out for us, but we did have to switch hotels. the wedding day is awesome even though i didnt completely accomplish what i wanted for the smoke shot, i think it was sabotaged. the wedding ends around 9pm, and jamaal and i fly out of jacksonville at 5am… the bridal party invites us to the “afterparty” and who are we to turn down a good time. we left the party around 2, took a nap at the gate before boarding and was back in houston in time to make it to seaside for brunch. wait there was no seaside then. what did we do on sundays before brunch at seaside?

do more shit.

i need to write more and shoot more. i need to write more about shooting. shoot more. post more. share more. it does no good on the hard drive.

random thoughts, but ill be sharing and shooting and writing. a lot.
